I saw Avatar in Imax 3D and visually it was the most incredible thing I've seen in my life. It blew me away. As for the movie itself, it was pretty bland and cliche with your typical storyline and cliche ending. But, like a lot of people including myself, I just went to watch it because of the effects and I was not disappointed.

AVATAR gross = 1.9 Billion in 40 days TITANIC gross = 1.8 Billion Remember our debate Stylnk? . I TOLD YOU SO.

Well, I did say prove me wrong and you know what people came to watch this movie, including myself. So, bravo. You were right Rash. lol. Still though, with the amount of theaters Avatar is/ was playing in and the price of 3D ticket prices, it's unfair to compare it to Titanic where it was playing in much less theaters at the time and ticket prices were much much lower.

Yet people are willing to pay MORE money "per" ticket to watch it in 3D, and not just once, but again and again.
